Bahay Modernismo is the newest museum of Quezon City, located inside the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Formerly the residence of the Araneta family, this modern brutalist structure was designed by the National Artist for Architecture, Francisco "Bobby" Mañosa. The building features exposed concrete, clean lines, and integration with natural elements characteristic of the brutalist architectural movement. Now converted into a museum, it showcases the evolution of modern Filipino architecture and design.
Fact Corner: The building was completed in 1973 and is considered one of the finest examples of brutalist architecture in the Philippines.
