Where the 24 Fallen Fleurs-de-lis Meet Quezon City’s First Mayor
This roundabout monument features 24 bronze statues around its base to commemorate the ill-fated Philippine Boy Scout delegation who tragically died in a 1963 plane crash on their way to the Jamboree in Greece.
Atop the existing Boy Scout monument stands an obelisk structure to pay homage to the very first mayor of Quezon City and the namesake of the avenue — together, a tribute to the honor and service that define this corner of Quezon City.
